Skilled maintenance labor & technical support
Qualified maintenance hands, on-site when your team needs backup.
For factory and maintenance managers in manufacturing, chemical, distribution, and warehouse operations — we place experienced maintenance professionals on-site fast, for as long as the work requires.
Why this company exists
Built from years on the floor, not a business plan written from the outside.
I started Maintenance Gap Specialist after years of watching facilities lose momentum, knowledge, and production the moment an experienced technician resigned, went on vacation, or took extended leave. I've seen teams without enough hands-on experience who needed someone to train them. I've seen equipment down and a crew that couldn't spare anyone to troubleshoot it. I've seen scheduled PMs and rebuilds slip because the team was short-staffed. I've seen plants that couldn't keep an automation and controls technician on payroll and needed help right away.
Most of all, I've seen facilities forced to wait two or three weeks for an OEM technician to fly out — with a hefty quote attached — for what turns out to be a simple fix the team just couldn't put their finger on. That's who I built this company for. When that happens, they call me.

Who we work with
Built for factory managers and maintenance managers who need qualified hands on the floor fast — not a hiring process to get there.
Manufacturing
Keep production lines running without an open maintenance seat slowing the shift.
Chemical
Technicians who work within the safety and compliance standards your plant runs on.
Distribution centers
Coverage for conveyor, dock, and material-handling equipment before it slows fulfillment.
Warehouses
Support for the equipment that keeps pallets, racking, and material handling moving.
What we support
Skilled maintenance labor across seven areas — brought in for a single role, a project, or an event, and scaled to however long the work takes.
Technician replacement fill-in
Interim coverage for an open maintenance role, with a clean handoff once you've hired someone permanent.
Rebuilds support
Extra qualified hands for equipment rebuilds and overhauls, so the work stays on schedule without pulling your regular crew off routine maintenance.
Shutdown / outage support
Surge staffing for planned shutdowns and turnarounds, matched to the trades and headcount your outage plan calls for.
Troubleshooting & repair support
Experienced technicians for diagnosing and fixing equipment issues when downtime is costing you and your team needs another set of hands.
Automation & controls support
Technicians and specialists for PLCs, HMIs, and control systems — from troubleshooting a fault to supporting a controls upgrade.
Instrumentation & electrical support
Technicians for calibrating instrumentation, troubleshooting circuits, and supporting electrical work across your equipment and panels.
Maintenance & reliability support
Hands-on help running your PM program and reliability initiatives day to day, without adding permanent headcount.
How support gets started
Four steps, start to finish. You'll know what happens next at every stage — no long onboarding process before help shows up.

A quick call about the equipment, trade, and timeline the work calls for — whether it's coverage, a project, or an outage.
We match a technician
We pull from our network for someone with the right hands-on experience for the job.
Work begins on-site
Support starts on your timeline, typically within 3–5 business days of confirming the scope.
Clean wrap-up
